Rapid growth in trade volume between China and Russia in the first seven months of this year
According to a report by Russia News Agency on August 8th, the latest data from the General Administration of Customs of China shows that from January to July 2023, the trade volume between China and Russia increased by 36.5% year-on-year, reaching $134.04 billion.
According to reports, in the first seven months of this year, China's exports of goods to Russia reached $62.545 billion, a year-on-year increase of 73.4%. Russia's exports of goods to China increased by 15.1%, reaching $71.559 billion.
In July, the trade volume between the two countries reached 19.488 billion US dollars. Russia has exported goods worth 9.208 billion US dollars to China, while China has exported goods worth 10.28 billion US dollars to Russia.
Throughout 2022, the trade volume between the two countries reached a record high of 190.271 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 29.3%.
